We included Robin's Landing on our top 10 list because its backyard overlooks beautiful Deer Creek Park, providing peaceful views of nature with occasional wildlife sightings. The backyard also has a covered patio with tables and chairs where residents can relax and enjoy the company of their friends. Residents of this community can choose from studio and one-bedroom units as well as companion suites. An RN is on-call 24 hours per day, and there is an on-site podiatry program as well as an on-site visiting physician. Small furry friends are welcome in this community.

We loved the excellent use this facility makes of its outdoor spaces. There is a community garden where residents may grow their own flowers, fruits, herbs and vegetables that's also used by the professional kitchen staff to source fresh fare for their creative cuisine. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the on-site putting green, and there are also walking paths, outdoor seating and grilling areas and a bocce court. Interior amenities include a theater, a residential gym and a salon/day spa with a therapy tub. Available floor plans include small-pet-friendly studio, one- and two-bedroom units along with companion suites.

There is a coffee shop on-site where residents can visit among themselves or with guests, and there is an outside gardening area where they can grow their favorite plants. Although this facility is not pet-friendly, a therapy dog visits every first and third Monday evening.
