Located in Westchester County about 24 miles northeast of New York City, New Rochelle is one of the oldest cities in the Northeast. Established by French settlers in 1688, the city is now home to nearly 80,000 people, and 17.6% of New Rochelle’s residents are seniors aged 65 and older.
