The first system offered is the In-Home Landline package. This system has a base unit that plugs into the user’s existing landline. It comes with a small wearable pendant, which can be worn on the wrist or around the neck, as well as a base unit with an emergency call button. From the base unit, the user can talk to an operator using two-way communication. The pendant is a simple help button that allows the wearer to summon help if they are too far from the base unit to talk to the operator. This system has a large range of 1,300 feet, so the user can have coverage even while going out to check the mail and take out the trash.

The In-Home Wireless offers some of the same features as the landline system, but with the addition of GPS-enabled tracking. This system works through a cellular connection and runs on the AT&T network. The system comes with a base unit and a wearable pendant, both of which can call for help. Two-way communication connects the wearer with operators who can help assess the situation and call for help if needed. This system comes with Fall Button, the One Call Alert company’s fall detection service. It has a slightly larger range of 1,400 feet.

The Mobile On-the-Go system provides a good solution for seniors who are still active in their communities and like to leave home on a regular basis. This system comes with the same waterproof pendant, but instead of connecting it to a base unit, it connects to a mobile system that can go with the user anywhere they wish. This system has GPS tracking technology, so emergency operators can locate the wearer in the event of an emergency.

One Call Alert also offers a double Mobile On-the-Go system. This is the same mobile system, but with two pendants. This allows a family to protect two loved ones who live together using one plan and system.

Finally, One Call Alert combines its mobile tracking with its at-home protection in its Complete System. One Call Alert Plans and Pricing

One Call Alert has designed its systems to be straightforward. However, it does have five different plans that all have their own pricing. Families also have the option to pay monthly, semi-annually, quarterly or annually, and that also changes the pricing.

Customers who choose the In-Home Landline system pay $24.95 per month. The quarterly price is $74.85 per three months, which is also $24.95 a month. Semi-annual plan customers pay $137.70 per six months or $22.95 a month. Annual plan customers pay $275.40 a year, which also breaks down to $22.95 a month.

The In-Home Wireless system is the most affordable option at $19.95 per month. Interestingly, One Call Alert does not offer discounts for quarterly or semi-annual payments with this plan. These cost $90.61 for three months or $164.72 for six months, which are $30.20 and $27.45 respectively. The annual plan costs $239.40 a year, which is $19.95 a month.

The price of the Mobile On-the-Go is $37.95 per month. This is $104.85 per three months, which is $34.95 a month. Both the semi-annual plan of $197.70 per six months and the annual plan of $395.40 a year break down to $32.95.

The mobile double plan costs just a little bit more than the Mobile On-the-Go single plan. The monthly cost is $44.95. Quarterly payments are $128.85 per three months or $42.95 a month. Semi-annual payments are $239.70 per six months or $39.95 a month, and annual payments are $479.40 a year or $39.95 a month.

The Complete Protection system costs $41.95 per month. The quarterly cost is $119.85 per quarter, which breaks down to $39.95 per month. Semi-annual plans are $221.70 per six months, or $36.95. Annual plans offer the best price at $443.40 per year or $36.95 a month.

One Call Alert offers a few add-ons that add to the cost. Adding fall detection is an additional $10 a month. The In-Home Airless system has a subscription fee of $49.95, which is waived for annual agreements. These systems require no contracts.

No. The landline option does require a landline phone, but they offer cellular options too. Cellular options do not require the user to have a cellular phone or contract. They run over the AT&T wireless network but require no separate cellular plan.

Is the monitoring service reliable and responsive?

Yes. One Call Alert does not have certified operators, but the operators are well-trained and respond quickly when the help button is pressed. They will either call 911 or call a friend or family member, depending on the need.

Is fall protection important?
