The PayingForSeniorCare.com website and the Eldercare Financial Resource Locator Tool are non-commercial efforts created and maintained by the American Elder Care Research Organization.
Designed for families and caregivers, the website helps them to discover the financial and care resources they need to pay for the long term care of their loved ones as well as to understand the benefits and limitations of any existing programs in which they participate.
Founded in 2007, the American Elder Care Research Organization resulted from the founders’ experience navigating the maze of program eligibility requirements and putting together the puzzle pieces to create a financial plan for one of their loved ones. Carol Guerrero, an attorney specializing in estate planning and elder law and Alex Guerrero, a website developer, combined their personal experience with their professional skills and created the PayingForSeniorCare.com website. Since the website launched in 2008, it has helped 1000s of families find the care their family needs and the resources to afford it.
Our mission is to help families and caregivers connect with the financial and care resources they require to enable their loved ones to age with comfort and dignity.
